This guest house exceeded all expectations predominantly down to its owner Jacqueline who was above and beyond accommodating and friendly. Being a solo female traveller Jacqueline was super comforting and went out of her way to ensure I had a great stay. I had a particularly early morning rise to get to a prearranged tour. Jacqueline made sure that I had access to breakfast even though it was before breakfast time and even looked after my bags because I was on a different tour after I checked out and couldn’t take my suitcase with me. It was so very much appreciated. The guesthouse itself is situated in a very convenient location to The city Centre. It been within 6 Minute walk to Inverness Castle. Thoroughly recommend.
Jaqueline was very welcoming and her home is beautiful. She looked after every detail to make it warm. The room was comfortable and roomy and the ensuite was bright and clean. There was plenty of parking on site and it is within walking distance to city center and a beautiful walk to Nessie islands and the Botanic gardens.
The hotel is located in Victorian building with spacious rooms. At the same time they are very well renovated and modern. The free private parking is available. The downtown is a few minutes away by foot. The area around hotel is very quiet. I recommend it to everyone.
Wonderful stay - great location, easy walking distance to town. Very comfortable rooms & beds. Large, well appointed rooms & bathroom. Hosts were friendly & accommodating. Breakfast was very good with many choices & substantial portions. Highly recommend.
We could not recommend this guest house enough. It’s placed in a quiet part of the city center of Inverness. Great breakfast, having a parking available is also quite helpful in making our journey to the highlands so memorable.
Jacqueline was an amazing, generous, kind host. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully planned out, providing all the necessary amenities and more. She shared her knowledge and reccomendations about places to visit around Inverness which we appreciated. She accomodated our needs, even waking up early to let up access breakfast items to take on our tours. The sit in breakfast provided was excellent, good portions and a good variety of foods to choose from. It was a pleasure to stay here and meet someone like Jacqueline, who is so dedicated to providing a high level of service to her guests.
Jacqueline gave us a lovely, warm welcome. She showed us to our rooms and explained how the shower worked, the WiFi details, and breakfast information. The room was large and airy and really clean. The bathroom looked brand new with a very good shower. The bed was comfy and there were teabags, coffee and biscuits available. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast. It is about a five to ten minute walk into town, depending on how fast you walk. The breakfast was delicious and Jacqueline was great about providing vegan food for me.
This was my second time staying at Eildon Guest House, and I will continue to book whenever I'm in Inverness! There's nothing else to say besides this hotel is perfect in every way. The building is centrally located and feels like a cozy little b&b - but the rooms themselves are luxurious! You can tell the owners considered every detail when designing them. The rooms are extremely clean and updated. Totally up to the best standards. Appreciate that breakfast is included, too. Truly a gem of Inverness!
